Maryland makes the cut for top-20 prospect

Maryland and head coach Kevin Willard are working diligently into the summer to iron out the remaining pieces for the 2022-23 season

Four-star center Aaron Bradshaw cut his list to Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Oklahoma State and UCLA while keeping the NBA G League under consideration. The Terps were among the schools reportedly recruiting Bradshaw the hardest earlier this year, alongside Kansas, UConn, Kentucky and Auburn, with assistant Grant Billmeier leading the way. The 7-foot-1 center was first offered by the previous staff but with the new staff in pursuit, Bradshaw said back on April 22 that he’s looking to visit both Maryland and Kentucky.

Maryland has already put the early touches on their 2023 recruiting class after hosting Sunrise Christian (KS) four-star guard Layden Blocker on an official visit this past weekend while assistant David Cox pulled the trigger on Bishop Ireton (VA) shooting guard Jamie Kaiser Jr. on Monday.

Bradshaw plays for NJ Scholars on the EYBL AAU circuit and averaged 12.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.7 blocks while shooting 68% from the field and 88% from the free-throw line in six games.

Bradshaw is rated a four-star prospect and a 97 overall by On3, sitting as the nation’s second-best center and 16th-best overall.
