Maryland football has added its second pledge in the secondary as former Wake Forest cornerback Jamare Glasker has announced his decision.

Glasker, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound cornerback, entered the transfer portal on Thursday and took a visit to Maryland beginning Friday, Dec. 20 as assistant Aazaar Abdul-Rahim looks to reload the cornerback room.

Glasker joins former Arkansas State cornerback Dontay Joyner as the second commitment at the position today, while Braydon Lee, Kevyn Humes, Judah Jenkins and Lloyd Irvin all step into their second season with the program.

A former three-star out of Potomac (MD), Glasker started in nine games in 2024 after a redshirt season where he became an integral part in the Deamon Decons’ secondary. Glasker started in all nine games available and finished the season with 37 tackles, including 33 solo, along with three tackles for loss and an interception.

Glasker is expected to enroll in January along with the rest of the portal commits and has three years of eligibility remaining.
