Former Maryland tackle Jaelyn Duncan became the fourth Terp drafted after the Tennessee Titans took the former four-star with the 186th overall pick, making him a sixth round selection.
Duncan becomes the first Terp offensive lineman drafted since Derwin Gray was selected in the seventh round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019.
A former four-star recruit in 2018, Duncan committed to the Terps over offers from Florida, LSU, Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State. He redshirted in 2018 and started in 39 games between 2019-2022.
Duncan was named an All-Big Ten honorable mention in both 2020 and 2022. His play at left tackle helped quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa break multiple school records. Duncan also opened holes for future pro running backs Anthony McFarland, Javon Leake, and Jake Funk.
