Maryland football saw its first departure along the offensive line this offseason with right guard Aliou Bah departing.
Bah entered the transfer portal early on Wednesday before withdrawing in the evening, then re-entering roughly 30 minutes later.
Bah, a 6-foot-6, 327-pound lineman, ended the 2025 season with starts in 23 consecutive games for a team-high on offense.
A former four-star product out of IMG Academy (FL), Bah arrived at Maryland after one season at Georgia where he redshirted in 2022 and played three games in 2023, later arriving in College Park as a key piece in the trenches. The Memphis, Tennessee native struggled during conference play during the 2024 season before taking a step in 2025, ending his time with the program with just one sack allowed in 1,511 career snaps.
Only Alan Herron departs the unit after exhausting his eligibility in 2025, giving head coach Mike Locksley the most returning experience along the offensive line since the 2021 season.
