Priority four-star target locks in Maryland official visit

Maryland has locked in an official visit with one of the top priority targets in the region amid several heavy hitters in pursuit.

St. James (VA) four-star athlete Kenaz Sullivan has locked in an official visit to Maryland beginning June 19 in what has continued to shape up as a monster recruiting weekend in the 2027 class.

Maryland has prioritized the 6-foot, 195-pound athlete through his junior season at North Stafford (VA) with assistant Aazaar Abdul-Rahim spearheading the chase while teaming up with wide receiver assistant Derek Kief.

Maryland, who also hosted the Virginia star for a spring practice back on April 18, has left the door open for Sullivan at both cornerback and wide receiver while the four-star told IBG last month how the Terps' have pursued has made a difference.

“They’ve done a hell of a job recruiting me, just reaching out all the time. They’re right down the street. They’re good coaches, good people up there,” he added. “They want me to come and play early. They want me to come in and dominate. They want to revolve the team around me and I like that. I like going to practice, see how they compete, see how the coaches coach, seeing the type of energy they bring to practice.”

Maryland will also serve as the final official visit amid a flurry of visits on the horizon, including one already completed.

Indiana marked the first school to host him in late April with plans to visit Florida beginning May 28, Tennessee beginning June 5 and Ohio State beginning June 12.

Sullivan is also on track to enroll in January.
