Don't look now, but Maryland men's basketball will now look to hit the road with a chance at a third consecutive win against a team struggling through Big Ten play.

Maryland is set for the first of two matchups against Rutgers over the next 15 days with the Terps set to travel to Piscataway on Sunday before hosting the Scarlet Knights for a noon tipoff on March 1.

Maryland will look for its fourth consecutive win against Rutgers, a streak that began after dropping three of their previous four against the Scarlet Knights, while leading the all-time series 16-8 over Rutgers.

Rutgers enters Sunday's contest with a seven-game losing streak with half featuring a double digit margin of defeat with the Scarlet Knights, like Maryland, looking for their third win of Big Ten play.

But one week after taking the win at Minnesota, Maryland will look to replicate that success against a struggling Rutgers team.

Tariq Francis, a former portal guard from NJIT, enters Sunday’s matchup as one of two averaging double figures scoring, averaging a team-high 16.5 points on nearly 44% shooting from the field alongside Dylan Grant, who is averaging just over ten points per game on just over 44% shooting from the field. Darren Buchanan Jr. also enters as a shooter to watch where he’s shooting over 40% both from the field and three, while brief former Maryland target, Harun Zrno, has materialized into a rotational player in his first season with the Scarlet Knights.

Andre Mills will look to pick up where he left off after finishing with a season-high 24 points against Iowa, making his fourth consecutive game with double figures scoring. He wasn’t along as Diggy Coit finished just shy of recording his sixth 20-point game of the season after posting 19 points on 5-of-12 shooting in the seven-point win against Iowa on Wednesday night.
