Maryland men's basketball has unveiled new uniforms ahead of the start of the 2026-27 regular season.

The all white uniforms feature red text displaying 'Maryland' on the back and the player's last name on the back, with the number in all black. The state flag pattern is also seen on the collar and side of the jersey, while freshman phenom Baba Oladotun sported a Maryland edition of De'Aaron Fox's latest shoe, officially announced by Under Armour last month.

It marks the latest uniform in Maryland's rotation, while the athletic department unveiled new uniforms for both the men's and women's basketball teams that were in one Big Ten game last season. While the jerseys unveiled last season included the Maryland M-bar logo, the new 2026-27 uniforms teased on social media do not, adding a notable difference to the rotation.

Maryland is weeks away from unofficially kicking off year two of the Buzz Williams era with a pair of exhibition games already announced, first against Georgia Tech on Oct. 11 followed by West Virginia exactly one week later. Maryland unveiled its 2026-27 schedule last week after the Big Ten slate was finalized by the conference with Indiana, Michigan State and Rutgers serving as the three home-and-home opponents. Fans will first get a chance to see the new-look team take the floor against the Yellow Jackets with the first exhibition game set for 4:30 PM at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena, while the regular season opener is set for Nov. 2 vs. Bucknell.

Maryland is also coming off a season where its 36.4 win percentage ranked among the worst in program history, though all eyes are on how the new portal additions in DJ Wagner, Bishop Boswell and Tomislav Buljan can elevate the talent around Andre Mills and Pharrel Payne alongside the rest of the roster. ESPN projected 24 wins as the team's ceiling with 18 wins as the floor, ranking a tenth place finish in Big Ten play as the floor for year two despite ranking Maryland 11th in the annual preseason rankings.
