Emmanuel Dyson has established himself as a legitimate deep threat in the 2025 class as the 6-foot-2, 197-pound four-star is in line for a feature role at DeMatha (MD) as a wide receiver this fall. Dyson has drawn early offers from Maryland, Virginia Tech, USF, Temple, Boston College and UNC Charlotte. Dyson currently has nothing set to get up to College Park but added, "It’s in the works as of now, but I would like to head up there some time to really check the facilities out again.” Dyson plans to check out one ACC school next week. ”As of right now, I’m heading to Virginia Tech next week, but after that I'm focused on this upcoming fall camp, but more visits will be set up soon.” Two schools in Dyson's recruitment have stood out early in the process—Maryland and Virginia Tech. "I like the way Maryland has fun but at the same time they are working and are determined to win and I like how Virginia Tech is heavy on their brotherhood and making sure no one breaks it." https://twitter.com/15hundooo/status/1674239682605981697?s=46&t=C6PIf5EVRp1aGLdlDBKajg Wide receivers coach Gunter Brewer is leading the way for Maryland as he has made an impression early on Dyson. “It’s pretty good, I have a good relationship with Coach Brewer the receivers coach, and building that bond day by day and I really like the way they run things down at UMD." Dyson will look to show college coaches a lot more coming up in his junior season. “I’m looking to show coaches my run after the catch abilities, the way I can take the top off of the defense, and how I can get open with ease by reading defenses and running crisp routes.” Dyson not yet rated by On3, but is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.
