After a pair of official visits in June, Imhotep (Pa.) three-star OT Jesse Moody is ready to decide.
Moody, a 6-foot-6.5, 341-pound tackle, is set to announce his commitment this week, June 25. The Philly product first visited Rutgers the weekend of June 6 where the Scarlet Knights have been a familiar face throughout his recruitment. “I already know what I like from there. I like Greg Schiano, coach [Pat] Flaherty. I just like their staff. I like who they are,” Moody told IBG.
Moody followed up his official visit with a trip to Maryland beginning June 12 in what marked his first in-depth look at Maryland for both he and his mom as assistant Damian Wroblewski leads the way.
“Definitely very experienced guys to be able to elevate my game, was able to help me understand a lot of things and terminology. They just showcased their great coaches and being around a great environment,” Moody told IBG after his OV.
Virginia Tech and Wake Forest were both working to get Moody on campus for official visits this weekend but neither trip materialized, shaping up for a Big Ten battle.
Maryland already has one Imhotep product on the roster with former 2025 four-star edge Zahir Mathis roughly one week into his college career in College Park.
Jesse Moody is rated a three-star and 86 overall by On3.
