Good Counsel WR Elijah Moore has one OV set, four more in the mix

Good Counsel (MD) will be active on the 7-on-7 circuit next month as they make stops at Maryland, Penn State and West Virginia yet again, but the Falcons may not have their top receiver available most weekends with three-star Elijah Moore beginning to schedule his June official visits.

Moore tells IBG the lone official visit set up right now is to Ohio State beginning June 18. Moore also told IBG he is scheduling his remaining official visits to Florida, Florida State, Maryland and Michigan.

Led by former Maryland and current FSU assistant John Papuchis, the Seminoles are working to get both Moore and four-star teammate Dilin Jones on campus next month and there’s a chance that the electric duo make their way to Tallahassee together. Meanwhile, both the Buckeyes and Wolverines have set the bar in his recruitment and getting back to see the coaches and campuses is the main priority for Moore. “I’m ready to ball with them. I have no questions for either school. I’m comfortable with them.”

No school has hosted Moore more than Maryland as outside linebacker coach James Thomas and wide receiver coach Gunter Brewer have tag teamed his recruitment dating back to before his junior season and the Terps continue to resonate beyond just the hometown school.

“I came to practice once with coach Miles [Gray]. I’m going to try and get up there for another visit before I go up for my official.”

Elijah Moore is plannnig to make his commitment in August.

Elijah Moore is rated a three-star prospect and an 87 overall by On3, sitting as the 23rd-best player in Maryland.
