Young Terps: can Maryland’s OL find its groove in 2023?

Welcome back for another episode of Young Terps where we dive into the Terps’ offense as they approach the halfway point of fall camp.

Maryland head coach Mike Locksley admitted the offensive line isn’t close coming out of the first scrimmage of camp, but what needs to change between now and Sept. 2? Can Maryland find its starting five and hit its stride heading into week one? Are there any surprises in the unit?

If the offensive line outperforms preseason expectations, we take a look at what that means for Maryland’s offense with the transfer portal bolstering the key veterans back in 2023. That, of course, starts with quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa as we discuss how his return bolsters the offense and what he needs to do in year four in the program.
