Top-60 Prospect Darren Harris Visiting Maryland Today

Another elite local prospect is headed to Maryland for a visit today.

Paul VI (VA) four-star small forward Darren Harris is unofficially visiting Maryland today, marking his second Harris picked up an offer from the staff earlier this summer and, just like four-star guard DeShawn Harris-Smith, assistant Tony Skinn is leading the way for the Terps. Duke, meanwhile, is another who recently jumped into the mix but the Terps have a chance to reel in its second Team Takeover prospect in as many cycles.

Harris was a key component of a Paul VI team that finished 26-4 and won its first conference tournament in eight seasons. His shooting ability and defensive potential have caught the eye from coaches across the country as one of the next elite local talents in the 2024 class.

Harris is rated a four-star prospect and a 94 overall by On3, sitting as the 56th-best prospect in the country.
