Top-100 Prospect Visiting Pair of Schools Over Next Two Weeks

Pallotti didn’t have the season they hoped for, finishing 2-7 after falling 21-7 to Calvert Hall in a game that was called early due to fights. Even with a tough junior season, 2024 four-star outside linebacker Gabriel Williams wouldn’t have changed a thing.

“100% happy with the decision I made to come back to Pallotti,” Williams told Inside the Black and Gold. “I only ended up having four targets on me at linebacker, I wish I had more this year.” The 6-foot-4, 190-pound linebacker has been able to show his range and athleticism this season that’s led to an uptick in his recruitment. USC and Pitt were among the schools that jumped into the mix and Williams says the Trojans are now one of his top options.

“I’ve been waiting for that one for a long time. They call me every day. Coach [Brian] Odom loves me, loves my film, loves my height and weight. He likes versatility in his linebackers.” He’ll check out one school this upcoming weekend with former Maryland assistant Tyler Bowen chipping in Williams’s recruitment. “I’m going to Virginia Tech this week. I’m trying to make it out to Cincinnati, probably take an official to USC [in the spring].”

After Virginia Tech, Williams will return back to Maryland for next weekend’s Ohio State game. “I just got my tickets, actually. My cousin Kevin Glover, he’s up there always pushing Maryland. My mom went to Maryland. They treat me good. I love Maryland. They always have a special place in my heart even if I don’t go there.”

Williams will also look to visit Ohio State and Notre Dame this offseason.

Williams is rated a four-star prospect and a 92 overall by On3, checking in as the 81st-best prospect in the country.
