Maryland is tied for having the most former players in the All Star game. Duke had seven former players as well. The next closest school only had four.

Maryland also boasts the most alums in the PLL, including 13 former Terps on the Whipsnakes in Ehrhardt, Jake Bernhardt, Jay Carlson, Keegan Khan, Mike Chanenchuk, Bryan Cole, Matthew Dunn, Bryce Young, Rambo, Bernlohr, Brian Phipps, and Tim Muller. Roman Puglise is also on the roster but he is out for the season due to injury. Both Ehrhardt and Bernhardt serve as captains for the Whipsnakes. Bernhardt, meanwhile, was just named Maryland’s newest offensive coordinator last week to fill the vacancy left after Bobby Benson’s departure after becoming the new head coach at Providence.

“I would like to thank Coach Tillman and everyone at the University of Maryland for the opportunity to return to College Park and work with the men’s lacrosse program,” Bernhardt said in a release. “It is an incredible opportunity to continue this program’s rich tradition and work with their exceptional student-athletes. Now it’s time to get to work in College Park. Be The Best.”
