TV, kickoff details announced for Maryland football's road game vs. Ohio State

With Maryland football staring at a third consecutive lost season, details for the second of the two upcoming road games on the 2026 schedule were officially announced on Monday.

The Big Ten announced that the week six matchup between Maryland and Ohio State in Columbus will kickoff at 4:15 PM on BTN. Maryland fell by 20 points in the last meeting in Columbus during the 2023 season, while the last meeting in College Park was a four-quarter game until a late turnover solidified a 43-30 defeat for Maryland.

Fast forward now, how competitive the 2026 team can be against one of the Big Ten's best is the biggest question.

The Buckeyes have largely cruised through the 2026 season after beating Ball State, Kent State and Illinois, though the fourth quarter meltdown against fourth-ranked Texas in Austin in week two marked the biggest blemish through the first third of the schedule.

Maryland, meanwhile, is preparing for their first Big Ten road game and looking to snap a two-game losing streak when they travel to Nebraska this upcoming weekend. Maryland fell to 2-2 (0-1) after being dominated, 54-3, against UCLA at home this past weekend.
