Terps in the NFL: Week Three

With a double-digit list of Terps in the NFL, we take a look at how they fared in week three:


Beau Brade has yet to make his regular-season debut after being inactive for the Ravens’ 28-25 win over the Cowboys, but Baltimore brought another former Terp onto the squad after signing Yannick Ngakoue on Monday.


Giants cornerback Deonte Banks had five tackles and a pass defended as New York won their first game of the season, taking down the Browns 21-15. Cleveland defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson registered one assisted tackle, while guard Michael Dunn will be out for at least one more week on the Non-Football Illness list.


Following touchdowns on the game's first two drives, the Titans were outscored by the Packers 23-7 as tight end Chig Okonkwo had 2 catches for 15 yards in the 30-14 loss.


Jaguars safety Darnell Savage was out with a quad injury as Jacksonville was destroyed 47-10 against Buffalo, while Bills running back Ty Johnson carried the ball 3 times for 18 yards and 3 catches for 28 yards and a touchdown.



For the first time this season, wide receiver DJ Moore did not lead the Bears in receptions or yards, finishing with eight catches for 78 yards in a 21-16 loss to the Colts. Colts safety Nick Cross, who leads the NFL in tackles (39), posted ten tackles and a deflected pass.


In one of the biggest surprises of the week, the Texans were blown out by the Vikings 34-7 as WR Stefon Diggs finished with 10 catches for 94 yards against his former team.


Steelers’ Spencer Anderson was in the starting lineup and is now taking reps at right tackle following an injury to first-round pick Troy Fautanu.


Andy Dalton had no problem handling the Raiders’ defense in a 36-22 victory. Vegas corner Jakorian Bennett had two tackles and a pass defended. DJ Glaze was in at right tackle for the Raiders following an injury to Thayer Munford. DJ turner returned a kickoff for 26 yards.


The 49ers surrendered a 10-point fourth-quarter lead in their 27-24 loss to the Rams. Defensive tackle Sam Okuayinonu finished with a tackle, sack, tackle for loss and QB hit.
