Terps in the NFL: week nine

The season is over for Texans WR Stefon Diggs after suffering a torn ACL in Houston’s 21-13 loss vs. the New Jersey Nets. He finished with 496 receiving yards and three touchdowns in his first season with the team.

Meanwhile, Yannick Ngakoue recorded a tackle as the Raven defense shut out the Broncos in the second half in their 41-10 win on Sunday. Beau Brade was active but recorded no stats.

Bills running back Ty Johnson carried the ball three times for 23 yards as Buffalo would win on a 61-yard field goal with five seconds left against the Dolphins.

The Raiders lost to the Bengals 41-24 as Cincinnati won their first home game this year. Jakorian Bennett had six tackles and a pass defended, WR DJ Turner recorded a tackle while rookie OT DJ Glaze drew his fourth consecutive start. Las Vegas has now lost five straight.

Browns defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson was inactive, but Michael Dunn played in Cleveland’s 27-10 loss to the Chargers. LA corner Tarheeb Still knocked down three passes, one leading to a redzone interception, before coming down with his first career NFL interception in the fourth quarter to cement a rough day for Jameis Winston.

The Titans won against New England in overtime 20-17. Tennessee tight end Chig Okonkwo caught three passes for 38 yards. Tackle Jaelyn Duncan is on IR.

Giants corner Deonte Banks had two tackles in a 27-22 loss to the Commanders, giving up two touchdowns to Terry McLaurin.

Jaguars safety Darnell Savage had four tackles and a pass breakup in a 28-23 loss to Philadelphia.

Cardinals kicker Chad Ryland hit both of his field goals, one being a 55-yarder, in the team’s 29-9 win over the Bears. Ryland was named NFC Player of the Month last October after going 8-of-9 on field goal attempts in October. “He's a primetime player,” coach Jonathan Gannon said. “We try to rattle him in practice. He's got ice water in his veins right now.”

Chicago wide receiver DJ Moore caught four passes for 33 yards in a game he caught heat for apparently walking toward the sideline midplay. Byron Cowart didn’t play.

Nick Cross recorded his second interception of the season in the Colts’ Sunday night loss to the Vikings. The safety added ten tackles and one pass defended and currently sits fourth in the league in total tackles (86).

Bucs receiver Rakim Jarrett caught one pass for nine yards in an overtime Monday night loss to the Chiefs.

Spencer Anderson and the Steelers are on a bye, as are Sam Okuayinonu and the 49ers.
