Maryland has released its injury report against Charlotte with receiver Tyrese Chambers among ten players ruled out.
Chambers joins linebacker Neeo Avery, running back Ramon Brown, receiver Sean Williams, offensive linemen Andre Roye and Kevin Kalonji, running back Nolan Ray and tight end Leron Husbands have all been ruled out for the second consecutive week. Walk-ons Josh Jennings and Khalid Jones have also been ruled out.
Meanwhile, offensive tackle Gottlieb Ayedze is listed as questionable as Maryland looks to bolster its starting rotation.
Safety Glen Miller, cornerback Gavin Gibson, outside linebacker Dylan Gooden, receiver Josh Richards and offensive lineman Deandre Duffus join Ayedze among those listed as questionable. Maryland is expected to return safety Avantae Williams after a coach’s decision held him out of the season opening win vs. Towson. Williams is looking to make his Maryland debut as he works to become an option as a nickel cornerback. Kickoff between Maryland and Charlotte is set for 7:30 PM. Related Links
