Maryland made the cut for a pair of top targets out of Good Counsel within the last week. Three-star wide receiver Elijah Moore released a top ten with Florida, Florida State, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M and Wisconsin still in the mix. The 6-foot-3 Falcon star wideout has been a frequent visitor on campus dating back to his sophomore season after unofficially visiting Maryland last week with his mom and a coach, Moore will head to Ohio State on March 25, Michigan on April 1, Florida State on April 4, Florida on April 6 and Miami on April 14. Outside linebacker coach James Thomas and wide receiver coach Gunter Brewer have led the recruitment for the three-star target and the staff made a heavy presence at the school earlier this cycle. “We just talk a lot about receiver stuff between me and coach Brew, we’ve built a really good relationship. I’ve talked with Miles about getting work in with Kaden too, then hang around the guys and stuff,” Moore told IBG. Head coach Mike Locksley has also established a strong relationship. “We were talking about Kaden and the receiver room, the process and how everything in the receiver room will look over the next couple of years.” Donate HERE to TBIAF as head coach Mike Locksley builds the Terrapins program! Four-star linebacker Aaron Chiles also released his top ten with Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Maryland, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State still in the mix. Chiles joined a few of his teammates on an unofficial visit to Maryland on March 1 while he made it to campus for the season-finale win over Rutgers. “I’ve been watching previous games and the things that coach Locksley has been able to get done with the guys and the classes he’s brought in is very impressive. I think that was their seventh win, so I read something that said that was the first time they had seven wins since 2014. So you really get to see a change in what coach Locksley is doing and how he’s trying to change the culture and the team around,” Chiles told IBG back in November. Moore is rated a three-star prospect and an 87 overall by On3, sitting as the 12th-best prospect in Maryland and the 671st-best prospect in the country. Chiles is rated a four-star prospect and a 92 overall by On3, sitting as the fourth-best prospect in Maryland and 113th-best prospect in the country. Related Links
