Maryland football has retooled its offensive line with five commitments in the 2024 cycle, but the staff is working on the defensive side of the ball and made the cut for a longtime target out of Florida on Monday afternoon. Jones (FL) three-star defensive tackle D’antre Robinson released a top ten with Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Maryland, Ohio State, South Carolina, Texas and Texas A&M still in the mix. Robinson took official visits to Florida and Texas in June and has an official visit to Ohio State set for the weekend of October 21, but Maryland and outside linebacker coach James Thomas have remained in the picture with the Terps signing Dylan Wade from his school one cycle ago. https://twitter.com/Insideblackgold/status/1675988956893048833 “It was pretty cool being around the good vibes,” Robinson told IBG. “I’ve known him for a while now. It was great seeing him in person but just getting to know him and hearing what Dylan says, I knew I’d be able to get along with him.” Robinson also got a chance to sit down with defensive coordinator Brian Williams to delve into the defensive scheme before touring campus. “They said I can play anywhere along the line but they need dogs like me to build the line up. They really said they really need me and I’d have a chance to start for them. They showed me around the school, I talked to a few players. I know my teammate is committed and he’s going up there.” D'antre Robinson is rated a three-star prospect and an 89 overall by On3, sitting as the 61st-best prospect in Florida. Related Links
