Maryland (14-12, 6-9) vs. Wisconsin (17-9, 9-6)When & where: Feb. 20, 2024 | 9:00 PM ET | Kohl Center | Stream: Peacock -- Jac Collinsworth, Stephen Bardo (no TV) Radio: 105.7 FM (Baltimore) | 980 AM (DC) | SiriusXM channel 372 Betting odds: Maryland: +6.5 | O/U: 130 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atNRZC8V4KU Maryland is back in action on Tuesday night as they travel to face Wisconsin in the lone matchup between the two teams this season. Willard is 1-2 all-time vs. Wisconsin while the two teams split last year's series with the home team coming out on top each time after Wisconsin swept the series in 2021-22. Wisconsin also enters Tuesday 12-2 at home this season. After looking like one of the elite teams to challenge Purdue atop the Big Ten standings, Wisconsin has spiraled outside of the top 25 after losing five of its last six games in February. The Badgers blew a double-digit lead in its overtime loss at Nebraska, the result that sparked the losing stretch. Wisconsin followed it up with a six-point loss at home against then-second-ranked Purdue. Road losses to Michigan, Rutgers and Iowa were sandwiched between a home win vs. Ohio State, which proved to be the final game for Chris Holtmann as the Buckeyes' head coach, but Wisconsin will look to get back in the win column and reach double-digit conference wins for the 20th time in the last 23 seasons while Maryland looks to play spoiler. Wisconsin's downward spiral has taken them out of the top-25, now unofficially ranked 28th after climbing to as high as sixth in the AP Poll back on Jan. 29. Still, Wisconsin is one of six schools in the nation with at least 11 Quad One or Two wins despite facing the third-toughest schedule in the country, according to KenPom. A big reason for that has been AJ Storr, who has scored at least 20 points in four of his last seven games and leads the Badgers in scoring with 16.7 points per game. Steven Crowl also notched his 1,000 career point in Saturday's overtime loss vs. Iowa, while Tyler Wahl is shooting over 58% from the field through conference play -- ranked third in the Big Ten. Maryland, of course, is also looking for its second win in February after head coach Kevin Willard has watched postseason hopes slowly deteriorate after disappointing losses against Rutgers and Ohio State. While Maryland was able to mount another second-half comeback to defeat Iowa at home, 78-66, Maryland wasn't able to build off its success as Illinois spoiled the emotions inside the Xfinity Center in a five-point home loss. Maryland will have a chance to pick up its fourth win in 12 games outside of College Park this season, and as fans have seen all year, the Terps will need another big game from Jahmir Young to lead the way. In his last seven road games, Young is averaging over 28 points per game, including three 30-point games, while shooting over 47% from the field. Donta Scott, who has scored in 125 consecutive games, enters Tuesday 39 points away from passing Melo Trimble from 14th in program history and 27 boards from passing Tom McMillen for eighth all-time.
