There's yet again a new uniform in Terpsville! We have four school colors, and it's only fitting that we now have four Script Terps football jerseys to match!
On Saturday, Nov. 4, when Maryland Football hosts the Penn State Nittany Lions in College Park, the Terps will debut brand new gold Script Terps uniforms, complete with a black helmet and black pants. Join the Terps in Terpsville, and WEAR GOLD to the game! The first 7,500 students will receive a gold Script Terps t-shirt!
“I know our head coach Michael Locksley, someone who grew up in this area, in the DMV, worshiped the Terps in that uniform,” athletic director Damon Evans said at the time of announcement. “Now it's time for us to pay that homage and push forward, so I'm happy to bring back this iconic look. Terp Nation, here we come. Here it is.”
Maryland is on a bye this weekend and will return to action against Northwestern in Evanston next Saturday. Maryland will have a chance to secure bowl eligibility for the third consecutive season before returning home to sport the new uniforms.
