Preseason football has hit the DMV with scrimmages in full swing as the area’s top teams square off ahead of their respective week one matchups. Riverdale vs. DeMatha was in the works and was expected to take place on Monday before plans fizzled out, but one matchup did take place as expected as Calvert Hall made the trip into Montgomery County to take on Good Counsel in the first scrimmage for both teams.
