Future Terps in Action: Week Two

  1. Kevis Thomas: Lawndes crushed North Miami Beach 43-18. Thomas had two carries for -5 yards and one catch for 29 yards.

  2. DJ Samuels: Bergen Catholic won against Saguaro 28-7 in Arizona. Samuels carried the ball twice for zero yards and lost a fumble. On defense, he had three tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack.

  3. Ryan Manning: Frances won 47-7 against Desoto on the road. Manning caught two touchdowns passes, one for 32 yards and another for 35.

  4. Braeden Wisloski: Southern Columbia shut out Shamokin Area while scoring 43 points. Wisloski rushed for over 100 yards on just three carries and had a rushing and receiving touchdown.

  5. Dylan Wade, Derrick Rodgers: Jones lost to Duncanville 44-21. Their only lead of the game came from a short touchdown by Wade.

  6. Robert Long: Peter’s Prep lost to St. Joseph’s Prep 55-20. Long completed 11 of 23 passes for 198 yards and three touchdowns.

  7. Nolan Ray: Brother Rice lost a close game against East Kentwood 19-17. Ray missed his second straight game with an injury.

  8. Daniel Wingate, Alex Moore: Vincent Pallotti lost to Georgetown Prep 16-14.

  9. Deandre Duffus: Chaminade-Madonna won 49-28 against Dillard. They had over 500 yards of total offense, 354 of which came on the ground, along with three rushing touchdowns.

  10. Sean Williams: John’s shut out Middleton at home 42-0. Williams led the team in receiving with four catches for 54 yards and carried the ball once for two yards.

  11. Josh Richards: East Orange was shut out by Clifton 21-0. Richards caught four passes for 64 yards.

  12. AJ Szymanski: Loyola Blakefield won against New Town 48-6. Szymanski scored a touchdown in the third quarter to put them up 35-6.

  13. Jonathan Akins: Madison won against Godby 35-8.

  14. Tamarus Walker: McDonogh lost to Gonzaga 24-6.

  15. Mykel Morman: Henry Wise won against North Point 20-18. Morman did not register any stats.
