Maryland had a good number of commits that were in action this week. Most of them had their first game of the season. Let's take a look at how they fared in their games.
Taylor County (GA) CB Kevis Thomas: Thomas made an impact on the offensive side of the ball for Lowndes in their 33-0 win over Gadsden County. SFA (MD) WR Ryan Manning: St. Frances defeated East St. Louis 20-13 to start off the season 1-0. Manning caught a touchdown pass in the third quarter to help give the Panthers the lead. The Panthers are hoping for a National Championship this year and got off to the right start on their quest. St. Frances continues its road to national champions with DeSoto.
Southern Columbia WR Braeden Wisloski: Southern Columbia won its game against Berwick 42-27 after a huge second half. Down 14-0 through the first half, Southern Columbia dominated the rest of the way as Wisloski carried the ball seven times for 133 yards and three touchdowns.
