Maryland has landed its biggest commitment of the 2027 cycle yet with four-star defensive back Kenaz Sullivan officially in the fold.
Sullivan, a 6-foot, 195-pound defensive back, committed to Maryland over Tennessee and Florida and went public with his decision on day two of his official visit. Assistant Aazaar Abdul-Rahim led the way with the priority target throughout his recruitment.
“They’ve done a hell of a job recruiting me, just reaching out all the time. They’re right down the street. They’re good coaches, good people up there,” he added. “They want me to come and play early. They want me to come in and dominate. They want to revolve the team around me and I like that. I like going to practice, see how they compete, see how the coaches coach, seeing the type of energy they bring to practice.”
Assistants James Thomas and Aazaar Abdul-Rahim teamed up to lead the way with the priority target, who transferred to St. James for his senior season, as Sullivan adds starpower to a class as the 14th commitment where the January enrollee announced one week after DB Ontario Washington, his Godbrother, enrolled in College Park.
