Five standouts from Maryland football’s spring practice

Maryland will hit the field this afternoon for practice #7 in spring ball with 18 days until the annual Red-White game. Spring ball isn’t the time of year where fans see the depth chart get ironed out, but rather where new playmakers emerge ahead of the 2022 season. “It also gives us an opportunity as coaches to start identifying the guys that we feel will become playmakers for us during our ‘22 season,” Locksley said back on March 29. So who could fans see a bigger role from this fall? We take a look at five candidates.
