Bullis (MD) cornerback Oliver Bridges made it to Maryland on Tuesday for a campus tour but was not able to work out because he had track practice. Still, Tuesday gave him a chance to reacquaint himself with the hometown program and meet cornerbacks coach Henry Baker for the first time.

“I still had a good tour since I haven’t seen UMD in a while,” Bridges told Inside the Black & Gold. “It was good seeing him in person since we’ve only spoken on the phone.” Bridges had an opportunity to reconnect with Baker on the visit as they took an in-depth tour of the new training facility.

“It was crazy [for real]. Weight room, locker room, all of that.” Bridges also briefly saw head coach Mike Locksley on the trip. “We saw him during the tour but not for long.”

Bridges will likely return to College Park for a workout with the staff where they’ll get a chance to gauge his skillset and projection further. Bridges took his first official visit this past weekend to Rutgers and will take in Cincinnati this weekend for his official visit. Bridges does not have any further visits set though a trip to Penn State remains on the table.

Bridges is rated a three-star prospect and an 87 overall by 247Sports, sitting as the 16th-best prospect in Maryland.
