ACC, Big Ten schools monitoring 2025 QB Ethan Houck

Brunswick (MD) athlete Ethan Houck hasn’t had much of an offseason just yet as the 6-foot-4, 205-pound quarterback made the quick transition to basketball season. Down only five pounds from the start of his junior football season, Houck has made sure he’s staying fit ahead of a pivotal spring. “I think it’s a real important time for me for camp,” Houck said. “I’ve been staying in the weight room, just working with QB Factory, doing everything I can with eating, just trying to grow and get better.” Houck has been consistently training with QB Factory as Chris Baucia and his team look to maximize the potential of the dual-threat quarterback. “They’ve really developed me well. They’ve really skyrocketed me. They’ve definitely helped me get to where I’m at today,” Houck said ahead of his junior season. “I think just staying comfortable, just being confident in myself based on the training I get there. Mainly, off that, I can get better confidence which helps me in my game.” Learn more about QB Factory & upcoming trainings here Houck’s tight release and quickness, evidenced by his 4.6 second 40-yard time and 11.46 in the 100 meters, helped elevate his profile after eclipsing 1,500 passing yards and 18 touchdowns while completing 67% of his passes. https://twitter.com/ethanhouckk/status/1725553768815645070 “Virginia Tech has had a lot of interest. They want me to keep coming back, keep coming. I’ve been on an unofficial there. I’ve been to their camp twice because I went last year, then they called me back like the day after and said they want me to come back, give me a tour and then go to the camp again to throw for them individually.” Delaware has also been keeping tabs on Houck while Charlotte and offensive coordinator Mike Miller has been able to build ties. Maryland assistant Gunter Brewer also made the stop through Brunswick as the Terps have kept tabs on him through his junior year. “I’m planning on going up to junior day most likely,” Houck added. “I’ll probably go to the schools I’ve been talking to just keep that relationship, throw in front of them. I think spring is going to be huge for me. Any junior days, National Preps. I think this is a very important time for me.”
