’26 Florida defender eyeing fall decision with Maryland in top group

Head coach Mike Locksley and the Terps picked up the first commitment of the 2026 cycle on Monday when St. Frances (MD) defensive back Khmari Bing went public on his decision to commit to Maryland, following through on his dream of suiting up for the hometown program even after drawing SEC offers. While pulling the trigger on a college commitment is uncommon for a rising junior, Bing is far from the first to make that call and for 2026 Mandarin (FL) defensive lineman Brian Harris, it’s a decision he’s looking into with the season inching closer.
