2024 Five-Star to Visit Maryland on Monday

2024 Rosedale Christian (MD) five-star forward Trentyn Flowers will unofficially visit Maryland on Monday, he confirmed with Inside the Black and Gold.

After unofficially visiting Georgetown last week, Monday marks Flowers’s first visit to Maryland as he will make the trip in with his parents and siblings. Maryland extended an offer to the 6-foot-8 athletic wing prospect roughly six weeks ago after Flowers made the cross-country transfer this offseason.

The Baltimore native previously suited up at Huntington Prep (WV) then Sierra Canyon (CA) alongside Bronny James, Lebron James’s son, Amari Bailey and Kijani Wright and suited up for Team Durant in the Nike EYBL circuit this summer before making the move to Rosedale Christian.

Monday’s unofficial could be his last as he takes in a pair of camps this month, including the Formula Zero camp founded by Blazers star guard Damian Lillard. Flowers added he will look to finalize his official visit schedule in the coming weeks with a handful of schools in mind. “I know Georgia Tech is in the works right now, hopefully Oklahoma and then schools like Kansas,” Flowers added.

The consensus five-star also unofficially visited Oklahoma this summer and holds offers from Georgetown, LSU, Tennessee, USC, Michigan, Memphis, Oklahoma State, Auburn, Illinois, Florida and UCF among others.

Flowers is rated a five-star prospect in the 2024 class and a 98 overall by On3. Additionally, he’s ranked the third-best forward and eighth-best overall prospect.
